Sketch Evening
Sketch evenings offer a space for sharing unfinished performance-based ideas, experiments, and work-in-progress sketches. The aim of the evenings is to spark dialogue and collective thinking through artistic practice, experimentation, and shared experience. Artists and participants meet as equals, and dialogue is understood as an integral part of the artistic process.
Artists are invited to sign up to share their work in these laboratory-like events with low threshold for participation. What matter most is a willingness to share emerging artistic ideas, work-in-progress sketches, or unfinished lines of thought. During each evening, three artists will present their work and invite participants into a shared conversations around it.
The discussions are facilitated by Sonjis Laine and Emmi Max Pennanen.
The event is inteded for professionals working in the performing arts.
Places for sharing work are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority is given to artists who have not previously shared their work at Sketch evenings.
