Sketch Evening

The Drafting Night offers a space for sharing unfinished performance experiments and drafts. The goal of the evening is to spark discussion and collaborative thinking about artistic practice, rehearsal, and the experience of performances. Artists and participants come together as equals during the evening, and their conversations support the artists’ creative processes.

Signing up for the Sketch Night is easy. The most important thing is a desire to share sketches, artistic ideas, or unfinished thoughts. At each event, three artists will present their work and invite other participants to join in a group discussion.

The dialogue will be facilitated by Sonjis Laine and Emmi Max Pennanen.

The evening is intended for professionals in the performing arts.

Spots for artists will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be given to artists who have not previously shared their work at the “Luonnos” evenings.

She graduated from Bachelors program in Dance at Stockholm University of the Arts (2019) and attained a masters degree in Anthropology at the University of Helsinki (2022).
