sofi

Sofi (Sofia Zaiceva) is a sound artist and performer hailing from Latvia. With a background that spans classical piano training and electroacoustic composition to creative coding, she has developed a distinctive approach to experimental electronic music that prioritises open-source praxis and immersive sonic experiences. Sofi's practice centres on creative coding, embodiment, human-machine communication, spatial sound, and improvisation. Her work investigates sound as a malleable medium capable of evoking associations and altering perception, while exploring narratives of triggers, noise, and randomness within complex algorithmic musical systems. Her latest solo album "aze" (2024) has been released on Italian label "Riforma".

The upcoming bugbath: questing-questing performance is a synthetic sonic terrain of algorithms, an uncanny valley between the familiar and the alien.

Kofu

Kofu, artistic alias for Moriamo Ahmed, is a Finnish-born Nigerian poet, musician, and DJ.

Their debut EP, 'in the absence of apathy', releasing in April 2025, is a sonic exploration of poetic introspection, brought to life with vocal harmonies, violin, experimental synth sounds. Kofu aims to encapsulate the premise of honesty through sifting through themes of home, body, sorrow, and love. Their work revolves around concepts of love and identity, and the strain it causes when the two don't meet. Through words and music, they seek to reach into the obstacles that plague their everyday life, including themes of depression, existential crisis and the occasional proclamations of love, and make sense of them.

At bugbath: questing-questing, Kofu brings their EP to life, leaving behind the shell of an apathetic being behind them and embodying the message the music encompasses.

Dylan Kerr

Dylan Kerr is a performance artist/vocalist/composer based between Ireland and Berlin. They work within process composition, just intonation and improvisation, and combine their voice and instruments with various electro-acoustic methods. Their practice engages with psychoacoustic phenomena - including beating, interference patterns, and the dynamic conversations between their voice and acoustic resonance. Their work is further informed by their research into sacred music, extended vocal techniques, and their work as a performer/interpreter of other composers' work.

At bugbath: questing-questing, they will present 'substratum', a composition for voice and fixed electronics that draws inspiration from the Hindustani Dhrupad tradition.
