Remi Vesala – showroom 3: rules of reality
Showroom 3: Rules of Reality is a curated exhibition by Remi Vesala, combining moving image works with performances and spatial interventions. Now in its third iteration, the showroom focuses in particular on the tensions between contemporary technology and physicality and their relationship to storytelling, allegorical and spatial interstices, and stage-like environments in which different ways of being are presented and demanded.
Video works will be shown by Matti Harju, Sini Hentu, Cassie Augusta Jørgensen, Randa Marouf, Jaakko Pietiläinen, P Staff, and Deborah Stratman, among others.
During the evening , Teemu Ruissalo will present work Scenario II for Maija, Selma, Alex, Niko, Sölvi, Aapo, and Teemu (2026), and we will experience Taneli Leonora Viljanen's Sumuhorisontti(Fog Horizon), a lecture performance about bodies, structures, strangeness, presence, and the invisible that is coming. It is woven together from textual material sourced from the following publications: Queerneobarokki, Vyöhyke, Pimeä kuu, and Glitterneste.
